What to expect from your day fishing with Capt. Jacob

While everyday on the water changes heres what you can expect

  • We will start the day at the boat launch with a quick safety briefing, skiff orientation and go over the game plan for the day.

  • Then off to the first spot. Most runs are 10-15 minutes with 30minutes being a long run.

  • The main species we will see are red fish and black drum, but be ready to cast at any game fish you see.

  • When we are fishing we will either be poling, drifting or a combination of the two. We are fishing shallow clear water to fish we can see. stealth is everything.

  • One angler fishes at a time during two person trips. This is a technical fishery that requires close coordination between the guide and angler. The anglers are free to trade off as they wish
